Toyota Impact Grant

Family Promise of Collin County is excited to be a participant partner in the newly formed Collin County Mobility collaboration that also includes Collin County Cares, Shiloh Place, Hope’s Door New Beginning Center, and Agape Resource and Assistance Center, Inc.  The Collaboration will receive $1,000,000 over 2 years to create a program for single mom’s head of household with a focus on affordable housing, transportation, childcare and education/training. The ultimate goal of this transitional model is to assist the mom’s opportunity to move her current salary level to head of household living wage.  The grant monies will supplement their housing, transportation, child care and education/training while they are in the program. Each family selected for the program will already be a participant in one of the four partner programs.  The Collaboration hopes to serve 40 families over the two year program while creating sustainability for the program to continue into the future.

None of the agencies will receive any of the money directly.   The grant will support the program and the selected families in the program.

Deeply Grateful

We at Family Promise are blessed with some of the best people ever. From the staff and board members to the churches, coordinators and volunteers, we shout their praises because without them, we wouldn't be here to serve these families who are struggling to get back on their feet. Thank you all for how you show your support-sharing a meal, providing financial support, donating a vehicle and most importantly your kind prayers lifting us up so we can all love well. It does take all of us working together, providing love and hope to our guests! Thank you!
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving Day full of joy, love, laughter and gratitude!
