Family Promise allows communities to develop comprehensive, holistic solutions for families facing homelessness. Families come to us in crisis; our approach of coordinated compassion helps them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.
CHANGING LIVES
Locally, over the past 9 years, we have provided shelter, meals, case management, homelessness prevention and stabilization services to nearly 468 family members.
KEEPING FAMILIES TOGETHER
We believe families should stay together — not be separated — during the most difficult times in their lives. If you are a family with children 17 years and younger, work or live in the Collin County area and homeless, you may qualify for Family Promise of Collin County.
ACHIEVING SUCCESS
FPOCC has helped more than 80% of families in our shelter program secure housing because of our intensive case management and community support.
ENGAGING VOLUNTEERS
FPOCC has mobilized more than 1,572 dedicated volunteers who make a tremendous difference in families’ lives—and in their communities.

For every dollar invested, we return $3 in donated goods and services.
INSPIRING INITIATIVES
Our volunteers don’t stop at shelter, meals, and support services. Nationwide, we have created more than 1,700 programs for housing, homelessness prevention, health care, life skills, and mentoring, among others.
